A beautiful, perfectly maintained stone building houses at one end the mechanism of the mill: an exterior metal bucket wheel, rebuilt in 1982, fed by a pond on the Martelet.
A pair of millstones crush locally produced buckwheat. A large bolter with sides and the accessory devices, sorter and chain with buckets complete the installation.
The building has been raised for the development of a floor which is now the miller's dwelling. In the past, the living room was located on the lower level, that of the rotunda. It was thatched; it has been perfectly preserved, with its fireplace and bread oven; it is still used for festivals.
The miller practiced the trade in his youth. It is now his daughter who runs the mill. An interesting and relaxing stopover!
