• The Circuit de la Tour: discovery of the city of Poligny along a signposted circuit in 8 stages (1.6 km) or 10 stages (3.4 km).
• La Maison du Comté, a museum offering a fun and friendly visit to learn all about Comté cheese. In 2021, the Maison du Comté is moving and expanding! Visitors will now be welcomed on a site made up of three separate buildings, representing a total surface area of 3000 m². When you love Comté, you don't count!
• The various churches and former convents, and in particular the magnificent Cluniac church of Mouthier-le-Vieillard. Poligny also has an important statuary of Burgundian art.
• For lovers of old stones, Poligny has many mansions and beautiful old fountains.
• The remains of the old ramparts with the Sergenterie tower.
• Magnificent apothecary from the end of the 17th century in the buildings of the former Hôtel-Dieu.
• County ripening cellars.
• A climb to the Dan cross or to the cliffs is essential: you can admire a view extended for kilometers in good weather, but also a splendid panorama of the city.

• The "Percée du Vin Jaune", every 1st weekend of February: tasting of Jura wines and especially the famous yellow wine which ages 6 years and 3 months in oak barrels. This festival changes winegrowing commune each year.
• The Trail of the Cross of Dan, the first Sunday of March (1st edition in 2018).
• Oktoberfest: every year at Poligny in mid-May.
• Saturdays in celebration: every year free concerts are offered every Saturday from July to August

• As part of the Open University series, the Salle Eugène Herzog is hosting a lecture by Michel Vernus, Honorary Professor of Contemporary History and Modern History of the Rural World (18th-19th centuries). The theme is : "Is there a special relationship between the Comtois and money ? "Franche-Comté has often come up with novel solutions, whether in terms of credit, savings, social protection or solidarity. This forms the region's original relationship with money. It is so closely linked to everyday life and the collective imagination that it allows us, from this particular angle, to re-read and revisit the region's history". - Conference organised by the Town of Poligny.

Two of them are even running a marathon to get here from Toulon and Lille. One fine morning, without warning, they put on trainers, respond with onomatopoeia and listen to bad music (…) They drag themselves from the sofa to bed, making it a point of honour to remind you that you are in no way up to your role as father. It poisons you. It hates you. It's cruel when a child grows up. To top it all off, once you're over 50 metres tall, they stop thinking of you as God himself. A father in his forties, locked away in the toilet, the ultimate inviolable fortress, consulting travel brochures as a way of escaping for good from the weight of everyday life, with an older son in the throes of adolescence on one side and a couple in crisis, particularly sexual, on the other. - Jérôme Colin, Denis Laujol and Thierry Hellin bring us a show about family love in which feelings are raw, as if on a battlefield.
