Mont-Saxonnex is a town of about 1,600 inhabitants situated in the foothills north of the massif Bargy. It has a fairly extensive ski area located between 1100 and 1800 meters altitude. It overlooks the valley of the Arve 600 meters between Bonneville and Cluses (axis Geneva-Chamonix). Its natural heritage is very diverse and it is nice to go skiing in winter but also to walk the summer.
