Near the Cesse valley, in the heart of Hérault, the village of Cesseras seduces with the richness of its historical heritage. It takes place in the Regional Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc, not far from Pépieux, Minerve and Siran.
Known since prehistoric times, the town of Cesseras only officially appears in history in the middle of the 9th century. Ravaged during the Hundred Years War, it was also affected in 1591 by the battle of Cesseras-Azillanet, a major episode in the wars of religion.
