Marble is present along the length of the circuit leading to the Roy Quarries, from which the Trianon columns were extracted. Very beautiful panoramic viewpoint over the Pyrenees when the weather is fine. Sweeping view over Argent-Double and Cros.

From the car park, make your way to Place de la République past the schools, Rue Montgaillard, Place de la Mairie, Rue du Plo de la Sal, and after crossing the road, continue along Rue des Terralbes. Opposite, take a path up through the garrigue to an old quarry (blocks still visible).
Continue towards the rock overlooking Argent-Double (viewpoint). Join a path on your right, the so-called Napoleon road (note the work on the bridges). When you arrive at the Rives Hautes forest road, cross it (stone hut) at the entrance to the path that leads across the garrigue to Roy Quarry.
Join the path that leads to the present-day quarries. Descend 200 m towards Caunes-Minervois. Turn left along a small trail through the pine forest. Turn right to return to the village along Chemin du Cros.
