Ideally located in the heart of the city, Le Bretzel will offer you an unforgettable holiday. The apartment is tastefully decorated, is bright and situated between many terraces and restaurants which serve you our typical meals. The appartment has a new (dec 2012) open American kitchen with a cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffeamachine senseo, bread toaster, … You can take a bath or a shower and there is a hairdryer available. Washing machine and dryer present. The toilet is separated. There is a bedroom with a double bed (160 cm/200 cm) and above the living room there's the mezzanine with another double bed (140 cm/200 cm). On demand you can use a baby bed and chair. You can watch television, dvd or listen to the radio/cd. There are also books and games available. About the region, the Alsace is a place you can discover in a thousand and one ways : it is a region full of contrasts, known for its floral villages and beautifull decorated houses. His mysterious castles which dominate its sunny vineyards of the seven famous Alsatian wines : Sylvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Noir, Gewürztraminer, Muscat and Tokay. You can climb the hills and discover great views, visit castles or historical sites. So called castles like High Koenigsberg, High Ribeaupierre, Ramstein or Ortemburg, Mount Sainte-Odile remind us of prosperous times in which there were still nobles. In the valleys at the foot of the mountains, you discover picturesque villages as Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Dambach… With their belfries, reinforcements and cordial restaurants, where you can taste the local cuisine and drink the typical wine. During the winter you can ski or snowboard unrestrained on the slopes of the ski resort of Le Lac Blanc, only 30 km from Ribeauvillel. Snow guaranteed ! During the summer, sports climbing in the Vosges mountains, hiking in beautiful, pristine forests or mountain bike to your hearts content. Art and history lovers will find their needs in historic towns such as Colmar, Strasbourg and the surrounding villages. Also in the field of activities you've come to the right place. You can visit the butterfly garden, a monkey park, the bird show or the stork resort. Ribeauvillé has 2 terrific swimmingpools, adapted to young and old and there's a whole new complex in which you can enjoy massages, hot wather tubs and adapted cures. You can try your luck in the casino or go dancing in Riquewihr. From here you can also go to Europe Park (50 km), which certainly will appeal to children. For the little ones there's the playgarden in the local park while the adults enjoy a game of petanque. In front of our appartment there's the cinema so you see, something for everyone so… And last but not least, our festival médieval ‘Pfifferdaj', the first weekend of September, which attracts about a 20.000 visitors and our well known ‘marchés de noel” known over the whole world.
