This trail crosses the Moorish forest and its vegetation characteristic of crystalline massifs and acid soils, composed of cork oaks, strawberry trees, heather and mastic... It is a loop course ideal for sportsmen.
Marking: yellow - Departure: water treatment station, Gavotte district. Beware, however, the yellow markings may in some places be missing or hidden by the vegetation.

Exiting Cogolin towards La Môle, at the crossroads of "Carrefour de la pipe", take the path to Colombier (on the left if coming from the Afrique roundabout, or opposite if coming from the town centre). Follow this road for 1.3 km (on the right after the bridge), until you reach the La Môle factory, parking area and starting point.
Set off on the track starting on the right of the factory (DFCI A33 - Les Pradelles).
Follow the yellow markings.
Once you reach the first tank (4 km), carry on to the left until you reach the Peinier water vat. From there, turn right towards the CD 27 (DFCI A33). You then leave the red and white markings of the GR and follow the yellow markings only.
At the ruins of Peinier, continue to the left. The path opens up further on, offering a panoramic view of Cogolin, Grimaud and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
Follow the path until the fork (on the right) with the DFCI A67 - Val d'Astier. The path descends along the ridge to the Val d'Astier estate.
When the first dwellings come into view, follow the path to the right until you reach the barrier, then turn left beneath the stele.
Walk along the vines to the bottom of the valley until you reach the letterboxes, then turn right.
At the next intersection, take the path opposite, veering slightly to the right.
Walk alongside the river (the Môle) until you reach a bridge. Do not go over the bridge, but cross the road to return to the track alongside the river.
Further along, the path joins up with the road again. Then turn right and go back up to the factory.
