Amping La Vallée Verte lies in the departement Puy-de-Dôme in the Auvergne 2,5 kilometres from the touristic village Ambert. The camping is situated on the western flank of a little hill, in the valley of the river Dore. Because of the little hill the camping is shielded from the Route D906 and on the camping you are assured of a view on the Monts du Forez and the Monts du Livradois. The camping is situated in the Parc naturel régional Livradois-Forez. The campsite is equiped with 2 little swimmingpools. On our site you can also rent an apartment for 4 to 6 persons. For all the information about the apartment and campsite you can visit our website. In Ambert you find the lake, "le plan d'eau". A very nice park where you can swim, walk or just rest yourself in a beautiful environment. In the summerseason the swimmingpart of the lake is guarded. You can hire canoes and paddle boats. There is small restaurant and there are some attractions for the children such as trampolines and a bouncing castle. The acces to the parc and lake is free.
