Gite in a castle in the countryside

We spent two weeks in this magic place. We liked the whole setting, beautiful places to have breakfest or dinner outside, nice rooms, confortable kitchen equipment and cooking facilities. The place is so quiet, so its ideal for reading, resting and walking. We liked the forest around and very small rivers and waterfalls and the ruins above Valcros. We recomend a night walk a full moon. Cathy gave as very detailed recomendations for walking in the Gorges Du Verdon or starting from Valcros, which was very helpful. Its nice to walk in the morning for fesh bread to Moulin de Soleil, and go for fresh vegetables and cheese in the market in Castellane. We are planning to return soon. Thanks a lot!

Road is not good but view from home is excellent.
