South of the Lot, 10 minutes from the exit Cahors-South of the A20, 25 km from Cahors, 30 km from Montauban and 85 km from Toulouse, the medieval city of Quercy Blanc, Castelnau-Montratier, invites you to discover.
In 1250, the Lord of Ratier rebuilds the city, and gives it its name. It is built according to a medieval urban plan: open space with a large covered place, an eccentric church, and typical narrow streets.
In the Quercy Blanc with a festive atmosphere, gastronomy is not left out. Lovers of good food feast on many local products: melons, confits, foie gras, cabécous, lamb du Quercy, sun-kissed fruit. All washed down with a superb Coteaux du Quercy wine.
