At the heart of the Corbières, close to the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, the Castillou Domain is surrounded by woods, fields of olive trees and lavender. It lies at the end of a road in a remote valley of 120 hectares. In this valley stands a former bishops' residence, comprising of a tower and a 13th century chapel with an adjoining parK in the shade of the plane trees, footpaths and a large swimming pool. The fields of lavender, sage, roses and olive trees that encircle the Domain are used to make organic essential oils. Come here to enjoy peace, tranquility, well-being and organic food. The residence can be divided into two holiday cottages with 5 to 6 bedrooms, 2 dining rooms, 1 play room or function room, 2 kitchens, 5 bathrooms, 1 laundry room and a freezer. The accommodation features exposed beams and natural stone, along with wooden floorboards in a design that is both authentic and refined. Outside you will find a terrace, bbq, secure swimming pool (15 m x 6 m) area with deck chairs, a playground, table tennis, a park and a path suitable for hiking or cross-country cycling.
