Starting from the west, the Pyrenees rise sharply at the level of Haute-Soule. The peak of Orhy is thus the first of a long series of giants. This situation gives it a remarkable panorama. It also gives its ascent, which takes place along a sharp and arid ridge, a truly mountain character. This peak is however easily accessible since the creation of the port road of Larrau.
