The key event in his Aurel is "Vogue", regional term for the local party. It takes place Sunday and Monday the 4th of July and brings together more than a thousand people. This is one of the most appreciated and popular fads of the region. During these two days, boules competitions (petanque on Sunday, long Monday), meal served by over 50 volunteers, parade of giant puppets, large dance hall are the attractions of the festivities.
The other pole of interest is the temple of Aurel which are programmed concerts and art exhibitions from May to October. It is the association " Friends Aurel and its Old Village" and its subgroup " Temp'Aurel " who organize these events.
