Consisting of a succession of medieval freestone houses covered with flat tiles, the priory of Vernoil-le-Fourrier now benefits from a registration as a Historic Monument. Private property not accessible to visitors, it was erected in the 15th century.
The main building from the Renaissance period of the priory notably houses frescoes and painted decorations from the 16th and 17th centuries. The set is now the subject of a major restoration campaign.
