Between sea and mountains, 14 km from the beaches, is a place, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, where a century ago, violets chose to grow. Today, the culture of this delicate flower is one of the main activities and the importance of production has earned the town its title of " City of Violets ". Built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the precipice, this medieval village, the ideal climate in all seasons has survived intact to this day.
