The town of Saint-Maurice-de-Rémens is located in the Plaine de l'Ain, 225 meters on the left bank of the Albarine shortly before its confluence with Ain and covers 1035 hectares. It is part of Township Ambérieu-en-Bugey, which includes 18 municipalities. It is 6 km from Ambérieu-en-Bugey ( head of the canton ).
At the 2009 census, the village had 696 souls. With good intentions ( and voluntary associations ), Saint -Maurice is a pleasant village.
