The Memorial Trail, lined with information boards and markers, departs from the village of Evosges and continues towards La Laye and the Marchat Farm, a memorial site. After the woods, it arrives in Terriau, crosses the D102 and climbs back up to the ruined Termant Farm. Return to the village via the Chemin de la croix du plan.
On 6 and 7 February 1944, the village of Evosges and the hamlets of Marchat and Termant, where Resistance fighters were hiding, were severely punished by the Germans. As a reward, the village received the Croix de Guerre in 1948. The Trail is a reminder of these events.

After reading the first sign, climb up between the war memorial and the school.
In Gaec des Narcisses, turn left and continue along the small road up to the path. At the top of the hill, turn right. You will arrive at a second information board.
Continue along the path keeping to the right and enter the woods.
You will arrive at Marchat Farm (memorial site). Remember to visit it.
Continue along the path to the road. Cross the road and take the road slightly on the left to join the path that leads to the ruins of Termant Farm. Then, return to the village of Evosges.
For a variant, and in order to shorten the itinerary, once you have reached the road, you can turn right on to it and leave the first part of the trail. Return to Evosges along the road (6 km itinerary).
