The Memorial Trail, lined with information boards and markers, departs from the village of Evosges and continues towards La Laye and the Marchat Farm, a memorial site. After the woods, it arrives in Terriau, crosses the D102 and climbs back up to the ruined Termant Farm. Return to the village via the Chemin de la croix du plan.
On 6 and 7 February 1944, the village of Evosges and the hamlets of Marchat and Termant, where Resistance fighters were hiding, were severely punished by the Germans. As a reward, the village received the Croix de Guerre in 1948. The Trail is a reminder of these events.
