The tip of the tower is named after the medieval tower "Couffon" which stood in place in the Middle Ages. Ruins of the tower were it seems, still visible in the 18th century. Today is a promenade which you can admire the panorama of the entire cove Bréhec. On a clear day, you can see the tip of Minard north and semaphore Saint-Quay-Portrieux south. Seaward to the east, there are the flagship Grand Léjon located more than 40 kilometers from the coast.
Remnants of bunkers from the Second World War are still present. The cliff is very steep and the path to the end is narrow and potentially slippery, caution is needed especially with children.
