Jujurieux

Ranked historic monument for the wall paintings of the vault of the entrance porch and part of the second floor of the tower and entered for some of the buildings and the park, the castle of La Tour-Ladders is an ancient tower strong fourteenth century. This former stronghold is particularly known to house in its interior five magnificent frescoes depicting a view of ancient castles. Made in the seventeenth century, and they reveal the tower of Saint-Denis and the castles of Allymes, St. Germain, and Poncin Pont d'Ain.

Also listed historical monument, Cossieux tower is a pigeon that currently do not visit but which can be admired from the outside. Memory of the heyday of the silk industry in Jujurieux, silks CJ Bonnet are now listed historical monument. Created in 1835, they saw their business stop in the early 2000s before being converted into a museum by the General Council of Ain and the community of communes of Rives Ain - Country Cerdon. The institution has made orders for the largest high-fashion houses like Dior, Chanel, Ungaro, Lacroix and Armani and Calvin Klein now has more than 300,000 objects, tools and pieces of fabric in its different rooms, tracing the history of an important industry in the region.
