Drôme medieval village, region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grignan takes place in the Drôme Provençale, near the Mont Ventoux. It is located seventy kilometers from Valence and Avignon, near Valréas Taulignan and Chamaret.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the remains found on site during archaeological excavations in the territory of Grignan grows mainly in the Middle Ages, thanks to its castle.
