Loop n ° 2: rather recommended for mountain bikes and hybrid bikes (11 km)

Loop n ° 3: rather recommended for pedestrians (8.5 km)

Attention for loop n ° 2, there is a ford in the Coronne river. The passage is not recommended in autumn, winter and spring because the river is in flood.

Access

Departure from the Place Saint-Antoine car park at Richerenches.

Itinerary

For loop n ° 2: Exit the car park by rue du Campanile and turn immediately left on avenue de la Rabasse to exit the village in the direction of Valréas, Grillon. At the crossroads of the small chapel of Notre Dame de Bon-Rencontre, turn left towards Aubépart (D18A towards Margerie). At the Aubépart crossroads, turn left towards Champ Vert. The road winds between crops and along the route you will discover lavender vines and truffle oaks. At the crossroads called Champ Vert, turn right onto the dirt road. Be careful, you have to ford in the Coronne river. Continue until the Ausière Nord sign.

* Here, two possibilities are available to you, either turn right towards Bourbouton (to continue the loop), or turn left then immediately right towards Petite Ausière and Bel Air (to continue loop 2), the 2 options meet at the sign called Bel Air.

For loop n ° 3: Exit the car park via rue du campanile and immediately turn right on avenue de la Rabasse and after the bridge, at the panel Richerenches 151 m, turn right, Bourbouton path. Along the way, see the very pretty Saint-Alban chapel. Continue on this small paved road to the Ausière Nord post. See * for the rest.

Loop 2: Via the Petite Ausière, follow the tarmac road to the Valréas - Baume main road, cross to take the dirt road opposite which passes near a farmhouse and Continue.

Loop 3: Via Bourbouton, continue to Bourbouton farm after which you will immediately turn left onto the dirt road. At the junction with the main road Valréas - Baume, cross and continue on the tarmac road in front of you.

At the Bel Air crossroads, the tar stops and continues along a dirt road towards Le Talobre. Before the stream of the same name, turn left towards Grande Ausière then a little further right along the vineyard. Continue on the dirt road which will give way, a few hundred meters further, to a small paved road which will bring you back to Richerenches.
