Camping de la meije

Camping very nice and clean, beautiful view of the glacier. Nathalie, the owner, very charming.

One of the best campsites we have ever stayed on. The owner and her little team keep it immaculately clean and well-maintained. The neat, level pitches are separated by a wonderful mix of young trees and shrubs that would grace an arboretum, with a mass of summer flowers. The toilet and shower facilities are modern, with plenty of cubicles, sinks etc., and regularly cleaned. It was too early in the season to try the pool, but it looked tempting. The view of the glacier is truly awesome, and the village of La Grave is a short climb from the site with plenty of restaurants and a really good boulangerie. La Grave is a superb base to explore the Ecrins National Park and the unspoilt northern fringes. I wish we'd stayed longer, and we will return.

Fantastic campsite in a very beautiful place. Nathalie, who runs the site speaks perfect English and is very helpful
