Thank you
Thank you Michele and Bernard for hosting us so wonderfully during our first visit to arles. How warm hospitality, excellent breakfasts, helpful history lessons and superb suggestions for regional attractions were much appreciated. Every restaurant you recommended was a winner. You went above and beyond our expectations of a B.and B. host and we will remember you fondly. We will certianly contact you again the next time we travel in Provence ! Thanks again. Lovely place and gracious hosts!
This bed and breakfast is well-located close to downtown Arles within walking distance of historic Roman sites, such as the amphitheatre, as well as restaurants and museums. Also convenient to explore the surrounding areas in Provence, such as the Camargue and the coast, the villages of Luberon, Avignon, etc. We especially appreciated our gracious hosts who were very helpful in planning memorable daily outings. Highly recommend it!

Friendly welcome and stay in Arles
Everything about our stay with Michèle and Bernard was great. Before our arrival, all communications were quick and friendly. Bernard's English was very good and made communicating a lot easier. We were met with a very friendly family welcome, could park our car inside the gates and were very happy to find such a comfortable room and bathroom for our stay. It was clean and well equipped. Michèle's breakfast was absolutely delicious. She uses fresh ingredients and presented a varied and tasty assortment of food. We also loved the real plunger coffee. The breakfast gave us plenty of energy for the day to go exploring in the many interesting places to visit close by. Their house is located within easy walking distance to Arles and each morning they gave us some great tips for what was around in the area which we wouldn't have found otherwise. We also used the nice pool to cool off after a day of sightseeing. Lastly, Michèle and Bernard were also respectful of our privacy. Overall a fantastic visit to Arles. Thank you!

Wonderful base in Arles
Bernard and Michele could not have been more welcoming or helpful with our travels in Provence. Since they only have one room for rent, you get their undivided attention - but in a respectful, unobtrusive way. We started each day with a beautiful breakfast (with Michele's homemade preserves), and a chat about what we were planning to do that day. (Arles is a very good base for day trips in Provence.) They told us about the nicest secondary roads, what to look for in various locations, etc. As Bernard put it, they want to share their passion for the region with their guests. We had many good conversations - in a combination of English and French. Bernard's English is very good. The room itself is on ground level, has a private entrance and bathroom, and is beautifully kept. You walk out under an arbour into their large, beautiful garden with an inground pool. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the historical centre of Arles, which is well worth an extended visit. Back to Bernard and Michele. They are warm, lovely people. Over a period of a week, we became friends. We were truly sorry to leave. We hope to return if circumstances permit, and to have them visit us in Canada.
