Private residence listed historical monument, Castle Montauban-de-Bretagne takes place in the town of the same name, in the heart of the department of Ille-et-Vilaine.

Built in the thirteenth century, it remains today only the dungeon. The rest of the current castle of Montauban-de-Bretagne was built in the 15th century and conquered at the same time by Charles VIII of France.
