At the heart of the national forest of Chizé, in the commune of Villiers-en-Bois, lies an ecological animal park of 25 hectares, the Zoodyssée, which is home to around 500 European animals and over 60 different species. In a natural environment of forests and prairies full of trees, follow two trails to discover Poitou donkeys, ibexes, mouflons, European bison, red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, owls, lynxes, wolves, foxes, otters, storks and birds of prey, to name but a few!
On your visit you can also enjoy exhibitions on biodiversity, educational activities, guided tours in a carriage, forest outings on Thursdays in July and August, as well as a mini-farm and children's play area.
