In the heart of the Loire gorges, the Grangent lake is a magnificent 28-kilometer long water reservoir created on the Loire River in 1957. In a lovely location on the edge of the lake, the village of Saint-Victor-sur-Loire has a pleasant sandy beach to relax on, a marina and a water sports centre offering numerous activities such as sailing, pedal-boating, canoeing, fishing and water-skiing. Boat trips on the lake are also offered.
