The Rocks of Edge

Depart from the town of Évaux-les-Bains, latitude 46.1749100 (N 46° 10’ 30”), longitude 2.4853400 (E 2° 29’ 7”)

• Departure

• In front of the Tourist Office, turn right on rue de Verdun then at the crossroads turn left towards Montluçon. After the level crossing, take the 2nd left.

• The road turns into a path that must go straight down.
• At the intersection, turn left, cross the bridge, turn right on the farm, walk along the pond and enter the path straight ahead
• At the crossroads, turn left and continue to climb to the village of "Bord la Roche", then to the road, turn left.
• At the first houses, take the path that goes down and leads you to the brook Chatcros.
• Cross the bridge. - On the right, a small clearing with a small cave. Canon Meunier, priest of Evaux, established a cult reminiscent of the Grotto of Lourdes. Notre Dame de Bord was inaugurated in 1926 and since then there has been a pilgrimage in August. - Return to the level of the bridge and, back to her, to undertake the ascent keeping the course to the left.
• At the crossroads, continue climbing straight and join the road.
• At the road, continue straight, take the grass road that bypasses the subdivision.
• Turn right, cross the level crossing and join the Tourist Office.
