A 17th century building located in the town of Thiverval-Grignon, in the Yvelines, the Château de Grignon today benefits from a registration as a Historic Monument. Originally the domain of Diane de Poitiers, it was rebuilt by Nicolas de Bellièvre, then lord of Neauphle.
Since the 19th century, the Château de Grignon has housed the Royal Agronomic Institution of Grignon, which has now become AgroParisTech. Located in a 300-hectare park, it is in the form of a U-shaped building in the Louis XIII style with brick and stone facing.
