The Serves golf course is located in the town of Saint-Genis-Pouilly, in the Ain department, 7 km west of Ferney-Voltaire.
Created in 1992 in a green environment in the immediate vicinity of the border with Switzerland, its main 9-hole course, 2850 m long, was designed by the architect François Ballivet.
This course is presented as a "par 37", rather flat and narrow and dotted with bodies of water. However, three holes are "par 5", which reflects an obvious technical difficulty. Experienced golfers or beginners are welcome.
An additional course of 5 holes of 700 m, composed of 2 "par 4" and 3 "par 3" is also available, which allows beginners to perfect their learning and, among other things, to train in ideal conditions.
A driving range with 20 stations (including 4 covered), a 2000 m² putting green and chipping green and a training bunker are also accessible.
Note also that the 5-hole course occasionally turns into a footgolf course, a fun discipline in full swing.
It is possible to eat on site and the association also offers training sessions and internships, particularly for young people.
The Saint-Genis-Pouilly golf course is open from March to October (but it is prudent to inquire depending on the weather conditions).
