Erected in the 12th century at Lignan-de-Bordeaux, in Gironde, the Sainte-Eulalie church now enjoys a classification as an historic monument. It presents its visitors with three apses and three choirs, as well as an exterior 19th century bell tower with a stone spire.
The interior decoration is not lacking in interest with its columns with historiated capitals with fantastic beasts and dragons or even the capitals of the transept revealing in particular the crucifixion or Jesus and his apostles. Modified over the centuries, the Sainte-Eulalie church is a beautiful blend of Romanesque and neo-Gothic style.
