Considered one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the Durancian Alps, the Saint-Nicolas-de-Myre church of Jausiers, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, was erected in the second half of the 17th century.
Today classified as a Historic Monument, the building reveals simple and sober exteriors in order to better highlight the richness of its interior decorations. Visitors can thus discover a nave opened by a cradle pierced with penetrations as well as eight side chapels rich in altarpieces and paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
