Natural site in Fumay

The street Rochettes and slate grave located in the city is one of the most scenic of the town. The slate vein called " renaissance " has been notched to let him pass, while the walls of the houses that surround it are placed directly above. Going up the street, you see on the right, closed with a metal grid, a slate entry whose origin dates back to the mid-seventeenth century. The operation worked until about 1780. The slate has a staircase to an angle of about 45 °. It leads to the first room from which the main gallery. This slate was used as a shelter during World War II.
