Located in the town of Clohars-Fouesnant, in Finistère, the Château de Kergos is a very beautiful building from the end of the 17th century. In the Restoration style, it has undergone many transformations over the years, however retaining certain original elements such as the entrance with double Gothic portal, the chapel with a swallow's nest watchtower or the pointed skylights of the right wing.
Private property not accessible to the public, the Château de Kergos also reveals an 18th century park with pond, greenhouse, dovecote or botanical garden listed in the pre-inventory of Remarkable Gardens. Note that part of the park was destroyed to facilitate the construction of the Cornouaille bridge not far from there.
