Located in the municipality of Ban-sur-Meurthe-Clefcy, in the heart of the Vosges mountains, about ten kilometers north of Gerardmer and La Bresse, on the edge of the Haut-Rhin, the Grand Valtin is known as "the smallest station of ski of Europe ".
Its domain covers two hectares between 750 and 1140 m of altitude and includes only two tracks (one blue, one green) that serve two ski lifts. The resort also has a toboggan run and offers amateurs about thirty kilometers of trails dedicated to cross-country skiing.
Ideal for beginners and families, enjoying a green environment, the resort of Grand Valtin is open in the winter season on weekends, Wednesday afternoons and during school holidays. In summer, hiking enthusiasts are delighted.
