The Royal Abbey of Septfontaines, founded 12th century and rebuilt during the 18th century is a French Heritage Monument. Four spacious guest rooms are made available in the abbey, which keep the castle-like touch given by Count Ducos at the end of the 19th century, notably through remarkable ancient painted wall papers. The rooms are located on the ground floor and first floor with direct view to the peaceful fields and gardens. If you are looking for simplicity, quietness and friendly welcoming, you choose the right place. A bathroom of 3 showers in the 1rst floor, a bathroom on the ground floor and 3 toilets are reserved for our guests. In the cloister, you would relax, enjoying the outstanding beauty and perspectives of the place, or simply choose a book in the rich multilingual library of the house, play chess in large armchairs, etc. Breakfast is served in the traditionnal kitchen or in the dining room of the abbey. Outside, you wil enjoy the courtyard with his 19th C. fountain, the romantic ruins of the old church, the park, the small pond, river, woods, hidden corners, rockeries… On request, you can have access to a kitchencorner.
