Itinerary

1. Take the small alley to the right as far as the water tower.

2. Take the small sunken lane to the municipal road.

3. Cross the municipal road to take a dirt road, skirting the wood for about 1 km.

4. At 200 m, turn left along a sunken lane.

5. At the end of the path, take the path to the right.

6. At the directional sign, turn right onto a path leading into the moor: a succession of rocks and viewpoints.

7. You are at the foot of the Roche du Feu (the path goes around it). By climbing to the summit at an altitude of 281 m, you will benefit from an exceptional panorama: view of the Aulne valley, the Monts d'Arrée to the north, the bay of Douarnenez as well as 33 bell towers within a radius of 40 km when the weather is clear. (During the Norman invasions this culmination took on a strategic importance. Indeed, to prevent the arrival of the Vikings, a lookout lit a fire on the rock of Gouézec, seen from all the basin of Châteaulin. The rock was thus baptized "Karreg an tan ").

8. Go down to the car park then turn right onto the municipal road for 200 m.

9. Turn left to follow a small path winding through the Gouézec countryside.

10. In Croas Toull, return to the village of Gouézec taking the RD41 on the left.
