Pretty village perched in the middle of the vines, Ribes is a small commune of the department of Ardèche, nestled in the heart of the valley of Beaume and Drobie, in the Regional Natural Park of the Mounts of Ardèche. It is characterized by beautiful terraces (faïsses) where grow chestnuts, olive trees and vines. The village is part of the Community of Communes Beaume-Drobie Country.
The neighboring towns are Lablachère, Joyeuse, Saint-André-Lachamp and Rosières.
