Pommeuse is a village of Gallo-Roman origin, located at the crossroads of three "Via Agrippa, equidistant from Crecy-la-Chapelle and Coulommiers.
It is crossed by Aubetin, 1st category river popular with anglers, and the Grand Morin, ranked 2nd category.
The 2500 "Pommeusiens" are distributed among 21 villages of this vast territory. These are connected by 70 km of roads and byways that traverse alternately forests, grasslands and crops, or along a watercourse. Several hiking trails to explore on foot, by bike or on horseback, are proposed.
