New commune located in Normandy, in the Orne department, Perche en Nocé was born in January 2016 from the merger of the villages of Dancé, Colonard-Corubert, Nocé, Préaux-du-Perche, Saint-Aubin-des-Grois, and Saint -Jean-de-la-Forêt. It is located in the Regional Natural Park of Perche, between Bellême and Nogent-le-Rotrou.
Populated since the Gallo-Roman era, the territory of Perche en Nocé has developed quietly since the Middle Ages, especially under the influence of various abbeys nearby. Formed of mainly agricultural communes, it is also known for its production and breeding of Percheron breeds, appreciated by horse lovers.
The new town has an architectural, cultural and natural heritage of great importance, which can be discovered by spending a few days in this green and welcoming region. The proximity to some of the most beautiful sights of the Perche also makes it an ideal place for holidays in the great outdoors.
Listed in the Historical Monuments, the church Saint-Jouin de Dancé reveals a fragment of stained glass God the father classified with the Historical Monuments. The building, of the eleventh century, was modified in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The town also admits the manor of Plessis, building of the sixteenth century listed historical monument, the castle of Beuvrière nineteenth century, the manor of the Revaudière sixteenth century, and the castle of the nineteenth century Bourdinière with its classified garden.

Nocé has a beautiful heritage listed or listed historical monument. Do not miss the 12th century Saint-Martin church, the 16th century presbytery, the Courboyer manor house whose outbuildings house the house of the Perche Regional Nature Park, the Lormarin manor house which is partly used as a bed and breakfast, Barville Manor, and Beaulieu Manor.
You will appreciate the 13th century Saint-Germain church of Préaux-du-Perche, known for its 17th century altarpiece and 16th century wall paintings. On the town, you will discover the manor of La Lubinière of the fifteenth century, the manor of Tarainière and François garden, a landscaped garden open to the public and installed around a typical percheron farm.
The Saint-Aubin church of Saint-Aubin-des-Grois has a high altar of the eighteenth century and three paintings classified as Historical Monuments.
Saint-Jean-de-la-Forêt is home to a Romanesque church with an octagonal bell tower and an 18th century presbytery.
Several marked hiking trails to walk, bike or horseback allow you to appreciate all the natural and architectural wonders of the region.
- On the second Sunday of May, Colonard-Corubert welcomes his garage sales.
- The communal festival is held every year in July with different animations. Program, country meal, dance, fireworks and flea market.
