Fontaine-Fourches is the town farthest francilienne the center of Paris, 2 km from the Champagne-Ardenne and 2 km of Burgundy. Fontaine-Fourches is also known for over a century for its festival of the Rosiere in which a girl chosen by the City Council is celebrated on Palm Sunday.
