Châtillon-en-Bazois

Built in the mid-nineteenth century, the current church Saint John the Baptist has a Romanesque Revival style. Inside, visitors can enjoy an altar of the fifteenth century and a beautiful painting of the seventeenth century depicting the baptism of Christ.

Castle Châtillon-en-Bazois is a tourist destination most popular in the village. Built on a rock, it is inhabited since the beginning of the tenth century.
