House of the Bailli de Marcoing

Monument in Cambrai

Located in the heart of the town of Cambrai, in the North, the house of the Bailli de Marcoing is the subject of an inscription in the Historic Monuments. Built during the 16th century, it represents the only vestige of a former residence of a lord of the time.

It is revealed in the form of a hexagonal freestone and brick tower which still stands proudly at 2 rue Fénélon.
