Created in the second half of the 19th century, the municipal museum of Bernay is entirely devoted to the Fine Arts. Labeled Museum of France, it is one of the oldest museums of the Eure still in activity.
Housed in a 17th century building, the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts of Bernay was originally designed on the model of the Louvre with a layout inviting discovery. Spread over two levels, it reveals quality collections, including one of the most beautiful sets of Rouen earthenware and works by Nicolas Poussin, André Mare and Tintoretto. Temporary thematic exhibitions, workshops and other activities are regularly offered there for young and old.
