Castle of Recours

Monument in Beaulieu

Today in ruins, the Château de Recours is a former 12th century fortified castle located just one kilometer from the town of Beaulieu, in Haute-Loire. Originally owned by the Viscounts of Polignac, it takes place at the extreme southern tip of the rock, still revealing the foundation of a tower.

The Château de Recours is freely accessible to visitors.
