Maisonnette 1 km de bord de mer

Really nice and typical house quite near the seaside, away from "turistic" traffic so that it's perfect to visit the area. The house is small but well equipped and it's perfect for 2 people, the garden is a lovely place to relax and it's totally quiet. Despite we had a really hot weather, the house remained always at a pleasant temperature. Mr and Mrs Roques are really lovely and available people!

Prior to our arrival, i had many emails from the owner, who was very eager to ensure that everything was ready for our stay, which was a very nice touch. We arrived on Sunday 3/08/14 and due to the fact that we were unsure of our arrival time, the owner made himself available to meet us, regardless of what time we arrived. The Accomodation itself is located on the main road between St Jean De Monts and Orouet. It is surrounded on all sides with a high fence and hedging, which was ideal for our two small children, as we were able to lock the gates, whilst still giving them freedom to play. The decking area at the rear is covered in, and also has a wooden windbreaker, so it was possible to eat out here, even on days when the weather was not so good. The interior of the house, is very tastefully furnished, with all the appliances / cutlery etc you could need. The overall athmosphere is very cosy. And there is free wifi available also. One point worth noting, is that the stairs and the upstairs sleeping area is quite open, so you should bear this in mind if you have very small children. As a whole, I would have no hesitation in recommending this Maisonette, and would definitely return in the future. Special thanks have to go to the owners, Pascal & Sonia, who attended to our every need without hesitation - (despite my poor french!)
