• At this location, the reasoned and late mowing helps promote the growth of wild orchids. Every year in May, goat and pyramid orchids come back for more pleasure.

• In this wood we can observe many insects of the family Hymenoptera (bees, wasps, ants,...) Lepidoptera (butterflies) Coleoptera (ladybug, beetle..) that can also be found on dry lawns located more far.

• The limestone lawn of Bellevue covers about thirty hectares. There is a great diversity of plants and a mosaic of micro landscapes (slabs, grass, shrubs...) favorable to the development of a multitude of pollinating insects. Along the way, limestone outcrops consisting of agglomerated fossils are proof of the presence of an ancient, warm, shallow sea rich in corals and shells. We also observe wild orchids such as pyramidal orchis, ophrys bumblebee, hanged man orchis...

• The path of Chatoillenot runs along a dry valley with little soil where only meadows, orchards and vines can grow. Further up to the lawn of Bellevue, you will take a steep path made of scree from the clearing of old vines with hillside.
