Prachtig domein in volle rustige natuur.

Beste Nederlands sprekende vakantiegangers, We waren met z'n tweeen te gast in deze chambre d'hote. We hebben genoten van de geweldige service van eigenaar en kok Sebastian. Hij verkoopt z'n omgeving, geeft praktische reisadviezen en trakteert u op een goed gevulde table. Kortom een aanrader !!!

Leuk : alles, kamer : leuk en ruim, ontvangst : hartelijk en oprecht, domein : rustig en schitterend, gastheer : enthousiast, vriendelijk, gedreven en een schitterende kok, ontbijt : veel keuze aan zelfgemaakte producten, avondmaal : gewoonweg heerlijk en van de beste kwaliteit (beter bij thuiskomst niet op de weegschaal gaan staan), omgeving : prachtig en zoals Sebastien je met zijn streek en de streekproducten laat kennismaken kan je er volop van genieten en wil je er het volgende jaar gewoon opnieuw naartoe. Dit was echt vakantie !

Was een goede tussenstop voor onzer verdere reis naar het zuiden.

Aangekomen werden we ontvangen met een drankje en konden we gaan genieten van dit verblijf. Bijzonder sfeervol en gelegen in een prachtige rustige omgeving. Echt een aanrader. 's Avonds hadden we ingeschreven voor het diner; werkelijk dit bleek een 4 gangenmenu te zijn van het niveau van een sterrenrestaurant. Werkelijk heel bijzonder en smakelijk met producten uit eigen tuin en omgeving. Werkelijk een zeer sfeervol verblijf met veel persoonlijke aandacht van Sebastien. Sebastien, chapeau. We komen zeker terug.

We waren de enige mensen en moesten eerst bellen op de mob telefoon om ontvangen te worden. We hadden geen reservering, maar de ontvangst was bijzonder hartelijk. Kamer en badkamer zagen er keurig uit en de omgeving en het uitzicht adembenemend!!! Een aanrader!!!

Very cosy and welcoming place to stay, inspiring rooms full of poetry, beautiful view, amazing night sky and, last but not least, the most delicious meal I have ever eaten served by Sébastien, a friendly host with nice sense of humor. The food was indeed so good that it inspired me to cook, something I usually don´t do. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The Domain du Bel Air is a great place to stay as a base in the Northern Lot. Sebastien is an excellent host, with wry sense of humour and speaks very good English, You will quickly feel a positive vibe. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is exceptional, a real feast! Remember to leave room in your tummy for the famous cheese board, described in exquisite detail each evening by Sebastien with the flair of an artist. He is also very conscientious about buying produce from the best local organic sources. The "gite" is set in very relaxing rural surroundings. Having a car would be recommended for day trips to the many tourist attractions in the surrounding area. It also happens to be located in one of the best areas of France for star gazing. So don't bring some binoculars or a telescope if you are interested in astronomy.

Excellent base for exploring the Lot region. A very warm welcome from owner Sebastien, and his great sense of humour "esprit Lot". Clean and comfortable room, and above all copious and delicious meals. Impossible to lose weight during a stay at the Domaine de Bel Air! A memorable stay. Highly recommended.

My family from New Zealand and I stayed at Domaine de bel air for two nights while exploring the area. Sebastien was a wonderful host who prepared probably the best meal I've ever eaten on one of the nights. The breakfast was simply outstanding. He also provided us with lots of information regarding where to visit and what to see. I can't recommend Domaine de bel air highly enough. Thanks so much Sebastien and hope to see you again soon.

We choosed to stay in a 'Gite' instead of the B&B, since we travelled with our daughter 10 month. (When we took contact with 'Domaine de bel air' we didn't know about the 'gite'). We were satisfied with our stay. Sebastian was very helpful and has good knowledges about the area and its tourist attractions. Sebastian also gave us homemade marmelad when we came and a typical homemade cake the last day. We enjoyed our stay.

A nice place to stay off the beaten track ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The breakfast was very good with a lot of different breads and conserves on offer. We also booked in for the Saturday night evening meal and this was excellent. Would return again.

It is one of our unforgottable memories that we could stay at such a cozy hotel. We appreciate Sebastien's, owner & chef, excellent dishes which are really in high qualtiy. Quite reasonable price which is the best in cost performance.

Wonderful rustic gourmet evening meals. Lovely breakfasts with tasty yogurt, exceptional breads and cakes. Talented host who is very attentive to his guests requests while still delivering delicious food. Hope to return in the future.

When we arrived in the late afternoon there were just a beer a piece on hand and apparently no wine for purchase. I could be wrong about the wine, but generally Jenny has a glass of wine and I don't believe it was available. The dinner meal was so wonderful. We had duck and it was the best I've ever had. There used to be a restaurant in KC called the Peppercorn Duck and we have had some great meals there, but yours was better. I found breakfast to be a bit lacking. I would have at least liked cheese to go with the bread and maybe even an egg. The yogart was incredible! The room was one of the nicest we stayed in on this trip. I was very interested in what you had to say about the place, but I did have trouble hearing you, so I'm sure your older guests probably did too. You have a wonderful property and; you are doing fantastic job!

The accommodation was exactly as we expected in a beautiful setting. Our host was extremely gracious and welcoming and the food was fine french food with a rustic flare.

Without question, our 3 night stay at Domaine de bel air was a highlight of an extended vacation in France. Sebastian is a gracious host who was attentive to every need. The delicious food and and the friendly ambiance among guests made the communal dinners most memorable. We look forward to returning to this charming and beautiful setting.

Enchantées de notre deuxième séjour chez Sébastien. Même convivialité, accueil chaleureux, convivial, humour, poésie, chambres à thèmes, bien décorées avec gout et avec des fleurs fraiches et très propres. Très bonnes tables gargantuesques avec des produits locaux Sébastien - Malgré de longues journées, hyperactif, toujours disponible pour des conseils de visites. Tout était parfait. A conseiller vivement ce lieu au calme et reposant. Il ne disait que la terre est un fruit dont le ciel est la peau, qu'il n'y a rien entre elle et lui, sinon les hommes qui ne savent pas pourquoi ils sont la. (citation Christation Signol)

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux à Bel air. Le domaine est magnifique, magique. Sébastien nous régale avec une délicieuse table d hôtes. Il nous conseille très bien pour les visites, culturelles ou nature dont regorge le Lot. Ces vacances étaient parfaites. Les chambres d hôtes sont très confortables, la literie excellente. Un grand merci pour cet accueil si chaleureux et intentionné.

Notre fille nous avait conseillé d'aller chez Sébastien, au domaine de bel air, pour l'accueil et la table d'hôte, pour le repas malheureusement le dimanche soir, il n'y en a pas. Mais le petit déjeuner copieux, que dire, quelle merveille. Et son hôte, formidable, gentil, cultivé et convivial. Notre chambre superbe. Allez-y vous serez enchantés. Nous espérons y retourner plusieurs jours, pour encore mieux apprécier.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans une belle chambre, un lit confortable. L'accueil, la table d'hôtes, le petit déjeuner super varié et copieux Nous y avons fait de belles et agréables rencontres, et heureux de connaitre le propriétaire et ses poètes, la connaissance de sa régions et ses livres Le domaine est en plus très bien situé au calme et près des lieux à visiter Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout voir de cette belle région nous essayerons d'y retour et si on sait nous retournerons au Domaine de Bel air Le Bastit merci pour tout Ceci est notre avis personnel.

Lieu magique, géré par un être attachant, improbable. Il est en « one-man show et one-man work » permanent, (il fait tout, tout seul !), mu par un processeur quadricœurs dont un, « gros comme ça… ». Toujours prêt à satisfaire le moindre de vos désirs, en plus, il vous transmettra des savoirs originaux, inattendus. Il a mis sa patte dans chaque recoin de sa demeure, par des associations sensibles esthétiques/culturelles, d'objets, de livres ou de photos. Un seul bémol, personnes frileuses, s'abstenir lors des périodes froides. Nous ne formulerons qu'un vœu, que sa bonne santé lui permette de régner encore longtemps sur cet endroit en retrait de l'espace-temps actuel. Raymond et Chantal.

C est la troisième fois que nous revenons au Domaine de Bel Air. Sébastien et son équipe nous reçoivent dans un cadre merveilleux et toujours avec autant de gastronomie, de convivialité, de confort et de gentillesse. Tout y fait pour que vous vous y sentiez bien. Lors de nos dîners nous avons rencontré des gens formidables, dont une passionnée d astronomie qui a fait découvrir le ciel étoilé du Lot à notre fille de 12 ans. A Bel Air, on renoue avec l humain et la nature. En ces temps difficiles, cela fait vraiment du bien. Sébastien Chambert rend ce lieu vraiment unique et inoubliable. De plus, le Lot offre une quantité et une diversité de visites ou d activités impressionnantes : canoë, Reptiland, Cahors, musée de l ecriture, Chutes des Causses, traite de chevre etc - Des vacances rêvées en famille ! Vivement la prochaine fois !
