Former Benedictine abbey located in the commune of Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin, in Loiret, the Saint-Mesmin de Micy abbey has been home to a community of Carmelites since the end of the 1930s. The site was transferred at this time to rue Claude Joliot, on the former site of the abbey of Micy.
The town is also home to the cross of Micy, ten meters high, built in the middle of the 19th century with the last stones from the remains of the original abbey. It is located within the confines of the outbuildings of the former monastery.
