The castle of Saint-Pompont, in the Dordogne, is a 15th century building now benefiting from an inscription in the Historic Monuments. Former commandery of the order of Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem burnt down by Geoffroy de Vivant, the building consists of a square keep with a walkway on corbels decorated with clover sculptures. In the courtyard, a 16th century well is still visible.
