Surrounded by a romantic park and a French garden, the Château de Carron in Porte-de-Savoie is a former hunting lodge built in the second half of the 17th century. Formerly the property of the General of the Empire, Pierre Decouz, it still belongs to his descendants who have managed to preserve the original decoration and atmosphere. Visitors can also discover documents retracing the Napoleonic epic such as letters, paintings and other maps.
Partially listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Carron is now open to visitors.
